Hi.  My name is Mike Schwarz, and I am an attorney licensed in Nevada and Illinois.  I practice exclusively in the area of criminal defense.  I no longer practice personal injury or family law.  I am a former Chicago Police Officer, but left the force after obtaining my law degree.  I graduated with honors from the IIT Kent Chicago College of Law.  I moved to Las Vegas shortly after passing the Illinois State Bar, and after passing the Nevada State Bar, I worked first as a law clerk for a family court judge.  I practiced family law at a local las vegas firm for a brief time, and then joined the Clark County District Attorney's office as a prosecutor.  I left that position in 2001, and have been in private practice ever since.

What We Do

Representation from initial arraignment through trial, if necessary.  Appeals and post-conviction petitions.  I have only recently decided to follow my passion for criminal defense, which is why I no longer practice in the areas of personal injury or family law.
